tutorial
materials needed:
scissorsglue (i used elmer's school glue, but you can use anything)chipboard/cardstock/thick paper for the base (i used chipboard, you can find them at your local hobby stores or online like this)your choice of paper for the cover. i printed mine on sticker paper from a local printing company but you can do it yourself at home with sticker paper or regular paper and then gluing it to the base. for sticker paper i recommend buying it from onlinelabels.com (i like standard white matte and weatherproof matte, it's kinda pricy though). make sure you buy paper that works for your printer (inkjet vs laser)!
the henggarae album dimensions are 16.5cm wide and 18cm tall, the thickness will change depending on how many booklets you put in and how you tie your books.
i'm using strings and my dimensions are roughly 16.5x18x2, this tutorial will fit your album as long as it's less than 2cm thick!
(click the image above to see the image bigger)
step one: cut out two (2) of the above shape out of your chipboard/cardstock/etc. please use something thick and sturdy for your base!
step two: glue the folds together so you have a box! you can use whatever glue that you have, or you can even tape them together.
step three: print and cut out the covers! if you use sticker paper, you don't need glue, but if you use regular paper, feel free to use any glue that you have to glue the covers to the base.
step four: you're done!! henggarae!
tips:
to glue/tape down your covers the easiest way, the above picture shows the order that i put it on!please match the position to the top corners of the base (circled in red) and it should fit the diagonal edges better!
